Bless you my brother. So kind for you all to think of me during these tough days. Tell all who is involved in the Shawl Ministry that I'm so grateful. I was not aware of the Tallis or Tallit but the blue sheet explained it all. Your ministry is a great thing. I have a Jewish friend who I am going to tell him about the Shawl. I may even pass it on to him as he is suffering from terminal cancer.
Please tell everyone hello, that I love them and can't wait till spring so I can be back with all of you.

Dear Annie & Sherman,
When I received the package in the mail, I had no idea what I had ordered now! When I opened it, I was blown away! My leg was really giving me a fit that day. I took it right out, sat in my recliner and laid it on my leg and asked Jesus to please take away some of my misery. I use it daily & remember the love and kindness that goes into each and everyone of them. It is so amazing how our Heavenly Father works through others who love Him to help others!
You are such a beautiful person and know Jesus shines His light & love on you in so many ways!
Thank you again for your thoughtfulness and the continued love that you show others everyday!

Dear Sweet Ladies & to all of the Prayer Shawl Ministry,
Forgive me for the lateness of this thank you card. Your sharing of the shawl is so helpful in knowing even someone that doesn't know what all you've been through cares. I've had 5 surgeries where they put me out. I'm now 70 & just got out of my neck brace. I wore it for 4 1/2 months this summer. But the Lord so far has blessed me & been with me & my family. My husband, Leon, & I have been married 51 years - Thanks to Jesus.
Again, lease accept my apologies for not answering sooner. My right arm & fingers were involved in this last procedure so my handwriting is not very good. I have chronic pain everyday of my life, but I still consider myself more fortunate than others. I hope this card makes sense in thanking ALL of you.

December 19, 2011: Dear Friends in Christ,
I have received your most recent post card of loving thoughts & encouragement that you sent to my sweet mother-in-law, Billie Rose Chapman. Please remove her from your prayer list. She passed away a little over a year ago. She was so very thankful for the prayer shawl your group sent her and she knew you all had her in your prayers. My sisters-in-law decided it was "What Mom would have wanted" and placed the shawl in her casket. It gave her strength & comfort and will be with her always.
You are to be commended in keeping your ministry going for it's sometimes difficult to keep up what is easily started. Interest wains and other things come up. You are touching many lives in more ways than you may ever know.
Again thank you for caring for Billie Rose.
